What is the 12-Month Welcome Stamp?

The Barbados Welcome Stamp is a 12-month visa for non-nationals, employed outside of Barbados, which allows them to live and work remotely from the island.

Who can apply for the 12-Month Welcome Stamp?

Once any non-national, employed outside of Barbados, can provide proof of an annual income of US$50,000 or more and valid health insurance for the period of the stamp, they are eligible to apply. 

If you wish to travel with your family under the 12-Month Welcome Stamp, you can opt for The Family Bundle Fee.

How much will it cost to apply for The Barbados Welcome Stamp?

For individuals wishing to call Barbados home for 12 months, the application fees are US$2,000. There is also The Family Bundle Fee which costs US$3,000.

How long will it take to process my application?

Application processing usually begins within 48 hours of submitting a complete application. It takes approximately 5 business days for your application to be either approved or denied. Once your application is approved, your Welcome Stamp visa is valid from that date for 12 months.

Do I have to pay Barbados Income Tax?

Non-nationals who have an approved Welcome Stamp Visa are not subject to pay Barbados Income Tax while staying on the island.
